1. Product Overview
FTA-T-14 is a dedicated field termination terminal board developed by Honeywell for the FSC fail-safe safety control system, used as the physical wiring interface between safety controller main I/O modules and on-site field discrete signal devices. It adopts passive signal conditioning circuit design with independent isolation circuits for each input channel to eliminate industrial ground loop interference and improve safety signal stability in high-EMI cabinet environments.
The module supports dual field voltage input standards: 24VDC low-voltage industrial signals and 120VAC alternating voltage interlock signals, with a maximum withstand voltage of 220V to cope with grid voltage fluctuation interference. Each channel is equipped with independent signal status LED indicators and fault alarm LEDs, allowing on-site maintenance personnel to quickly locate open circuit, short circuit and abnormal signal faults without special testing tools.
Standard 35mm DIN rail installation structure, compact size suitable for dense safety cabinet layout. It cannot independently execute logic processing and must be connected to the FSC main controller I/O backplane via dedicated rear connectors to realize signal transmission.
